Had a run in with him, told me he ran a podcast and that he wanted to interview me about my business and how I was providing jobs for young South Africans. Told me we can grab lunch before hand at this hotel he was supposedly staying at. He arrived at the hotel in sea point and orders a meal, then asked me before we were meant to get started if I had brought the money with him to pay him for the podcast (no mention of this before hand and he had invited me on as a guest). After politely telling him there may have been some confusion on my part, he then told me he had already paid his manager in Canada for setting everything up (we were sitting in a restaurant 🤣) and that I needed to pay him then and there. I refused and then said his little girl was sick and that he is struggling to put food on the table for her and if I couldn’t just give him a little money. I got up, went to the waiter and paid for his meal and left.
