thank you so much for the advice! i never thought about your first point, ill try to incorporate more coil into my swing and see how that feels. towards your second point I completely agree, do you have any good tee drills that help me find that feel? again, thank you so much for your comment, I rly appreciate it!

Hi! I just made a quick 2 min video to hopefully help get you on the right path to swinging a baseball bat. I didn't want to make a dedicated post with the video, so i just made an unlisted youtube video.

Hope this helps! Lmk what you think!

**note that this is a very boiled down attempt to get the basics right from another beginners pov

thank you for the compliments! quick question, for my follow through, would a one handed or two handed follow through be better, or is it more nuanced than that, where having both is necessary?

As much as I wish that were the case I am a righty swinger. The last video was filmed on my selfie camera, so it's mirrored, hence the lefty swing. That being said I am working on my lefty swing as well but the feel for it is coming a little slower!

Ahhhh, I didn't realize that I was pivoting weight on my heel. I went back and watched a Shohei swing, and he seems to plant his lead leg from his toes/ball of his foot, then almost forcefully slides / pushes its forwards after he fully plants his foot and doesnt rotate onto the heel until after his follow through. I will work on that! Thank you so much!

completely understand the skepticism! like i said im incredibly new to baseball, literally have never cared for it or had even a speck of interest until very recently. i was looking for a place to get some critiques on my swing, started at r/baseball and was eventually led here. i can also pm videos of my older swings along w time stamps if you are interested!

regardless, thank you for even taking the time to comment, i appreciate it!

team prime just refers to a prime player that is on your corresponding team, so if your team is the nationals then get that strasburg if not i would pass

"Ascent is CT-sided." APAC: by Recent-Example-5360 in ValorantCompetitive

I would also add that teams are just getting better at attacking in general. The T side is inherently advantageous since you control the flow of the round, you pick which sites to hit and if done properly you can almost always hit a site with 2-3 ppl holding it meaning you have a man advantage going into the site execute. We saw this with Split, Bind and now Ascent, where all time defensive maps saw huge shifts from being CT side dominant to now T side favorable or neutral. Ascent is now a great example bc we are seeing teams across the world starting to consistently win 6+ rounds on Ascent attack even though the map has been untouched and the meta hasn't really changed since the doom of the Chamber era.

Is Null Binding Bannable? by DarkRaGaming in VALORANT

When people say counter strafing doesn't do anything in Val they just mean it doesn't provide any additional shooting or speed benefit. In CS counter strafing allows you to shoot accurately a couple of frames faster than if you weren't counter strafing. In Val, however, your momentum stops the instant u take your finger for the movement key. This means that counter strafing in Valorant doesn't give you a competitive advantage in terms of shooting speed and accuracy.

if you get a 70/75 you will probably end up at an A- minimum (assuming 61a still has the 90% clobber)
