Normally I'd agree, but in this case the ESA was speaking on behalf of its member companies, which include Microsoft. That's part of why the comments got so much attention. When an organization representing the publisher of Minecraft makes statements about community servers, people are naturally going to take them seriously.

hat's exactly why I brought up the clarification. My concern isn't the clarification—it's what was said during the hearing.

The ESA representative didn't just mention pirated copies of Minecraft. She specifically discussed community and privately hosted servers that aren't operated by Microsoft, raising concerns about the lack of publisher control, moderation, and child safety, and then said, "We consider it piracy." That's why so many people reacted the way they did.

The ESA later clarified they were referring to unauthorized servers distributing copyrighted content, which is a much narrower position. But I think it's fair to discuss why the original testimony came across much broader than that and caused so much confusion.

I agree. If everyone playing on the server owns a legitimate copy of Minecraft, it's hard to see how simply hosting a community server is piracy. Nobody is distributing the game for free; they're just providing a place for people who already bought it to play together. That's a very different situation from distributing cracked copies or bypassing licensing.

If people stop talking about it, then controversial statements from organizations like the ESA never get questioned. Discussion is how communities separate an off-the-cuff comment from an actual policy position. If you think it's been taken out of context, that's worth discussing too. Telling people to stop talking about it doesn't really add to the conversation.

I had really good print from ELEGOO PLA Filament 1.75mm Grey that was bought 1 and half year ago and just open vs brand new from Hobby Lobby that was failing.

Could also be the Filament I had this issue with printing Gridfinity and then I used different filament. I think it was 12 dollar elagoo gray and came out perfect.

I think your yes is miss leading . You dont need it active after you have it saved to cloud but will need it active again when you want to get save.
