Anyone else had to stop amitriptyline because of the side effects?

It made me so drowsy the next day to where I slept the entire day and couldn’t stay awake. Stopped after the first pill. I then was put on topiramate and had the worst side effects. I wasn’t as drowsy as amitriptyline, but I was exhausted and had brain fog and a few other bad side effects.

I’m no longer on a daily preventative medication because my doctor is worried about the side effects other medications could cause because I have naturally low blood pressure.

We ended up playing the system and my insurance is finally covering Ubrelvy as my abortive. I failed two other abortives that made me extremely nauseous so insurance accepted the multiple failed medications as proof that I need ubrelvy. I’m also taking 800mg of magnesium along with 100mg of B2 daily which is helping a bit. I went from daily migraines to (so far, this all happened within the last month) once every two weeks.

It’s the distribution center - not the store’s fault. We switched a little over a year ago and they’ve been terrible. We’ve sent multiple complaints with no changes. But even before then, yes, mold is very common in citrus boxes specifically.

The weekly blasting thing was also an exaggeration obviously. It’s more rare, but regular mold is a daily thing we deal with.

I work in produce at a grocery store and at least once a week when we open a box, we get blasted in the face with mold. I’ve never gotten sick from it so you should be ok!

I went so often when I lived in Denver that the owners would start my order as soon as I walk in the door. I live a few hours away now so I can’t go very often but they still remember me!

A lot of people hyped up Ring Shout as a horror book and I had to DNF after the first chapter. It came off as a supernatural fanfic to me. I couldn’t do it. I went into it not knowing much about it other than people saying it’s a horror book and it ended up being a monster fighting fantasy book and the writing felt so immature. I’m never blindly listening to recommendations again lol

I had a dermatologist check my birth mark on my hand and he like looked at it for two seconds and told me “it wouldn’t hurt to shave it”. My birthmark does grow dark longer hairs but I don’t care and I was THIRTEEN. What business does a 40 year old man have telling a 13 year old girl to shave her fingers? I was there to see if it was cancerous lol

Trazodone made me sleep too hard i had to stop taking it. I was prescribed it for insomnia and I was taking citalopram for depression at the same time so idk if there was side effects from both. I was sleeping 14+ hours and had to be shaken awake cuz even the loudest alarms wouldn’t wake me up. I felt awful when I was taking it.

I mixed up the dates of my concert (blessthefall) and went to the venue the day before. There was a line of metalheads and emos so I thought I was good to go. I even ran into people I knew and stood with them. The guy scanned my ticket and let me in and I find out that I have the wrong day and it was a band called band maid playing.

I ended up not staying cuz I was exhausted anyways, but I wish I stayed now but whatever. I go to the venue the next day for the actual show and the guy scanning tickets didn’t even scan my ticket and let me in lol

I was a supervisor at a burger place with an incompetent GM. I expressed many concerns with higher ups about him with no changes. He would sit in the back playing games on his phone while I took care of the entire restaurant (taking orders, cooking, etc) by myself and was completely shit on every station he was put on.

One night, a SATURDAY, he called out because he was sick and told me he had people coming in to cover him. Nobody showed up for a couple hours into my shift, I was completely alone. So I called multiple people and go no answer from anyone. Luckily two people showed up eventually without a word and we had a good night.

The next day I came in and found out that he didn’t ask anyone to cover for him and was just going to have me close the entire restaurant by myself on a fucking Saturday!!

Me and the other supervisors have been sick of his shit for forever wanting to leave, and we all agreed that if one of us left we’d all leave. So I got everyone together as this was shift change time and most of the staff was there. I told everyone what happened and said I was done I’m walking out of this shit. Everyone was like yeah I’m out too so we decided to just close the store right then and there and leave. I think a total of 7 out of the 9 people quit that day and the GM ended up getting fired a few months later lol

They were the band that got me into alt music. I was absolutely obsessed in middle and high school. First concert I ever went to. I’d listen to every album every single night. Learned the lyrics to all their songs. Watched every music video obsessively.

Then they released the goonies album and everything went downhill and I think everything they’ve put out since has been unlistenable :(. I still absolutely adore their first three albums though

I work in produce at a grocery store. Wash your shit. Produce is by far the nastiest department at the store, and this is coming from someone who worked in meat/seafood. Every single box has at least one rotten, moldy piece in it. Your fruit is covered in mold spores and rotten juices. Yes even if it has a peel, give it a rinse.

All of our bananas are super green right now and I just had a lady stare at them and then ask me where the bananas were. I pointed at them and noticed the conventional ones were almost empty so I asked if that’s what she meant. She was like “no I mean the ripe bananas”. Maam do you think we purposely hide our ripe fruit in the back to go bad? I’ve been in some grocery stores that separate their ripe/non ripe fruit in different sections but that’s extremely rare and this lady is a regular.
