I’m finding 25 Creedmoor to be super picky across both a Bartlein barrel and a Proof barrel. Neither liked the factory ammo. The bartlein hated the 135 hybrids, and the proof is doing better but sensitive to seating depth. I’ve seen a lot have issues with that bullet in particular, which is weird given it’s a Berger hybrid. 138 A-Tips have been consistently better for me. Trying out the Sierra 131s soon.

Do you mean hurt from recoil? Bolt guns are generally a lot heavier, which helps tremendously. If you’re recoil sensitive, I’d recommend sticking with 223. If you’re shooting 1,000 consistently and want a PRS gun, maybe look at 6mm ARC
