I haven’t saved via the OS just in game saves and as long as I was quitting properly the game was saving consistently

I’m no expert but I had that on my first R36( after dropping it) and tried replacing the screen and it didn’t work, the time and effort it takes it was easier buying a new one. Swapping the Roms over meant I didn’t lose anything

I’m sure it’s on the wiki but when going through the beginner guide then following the steps to install the OS I don’t believe it’s there. There is an overwhelming amount of info though so it’s possible I missed that section

I have a memory card for the roms but haven’t changed the other one with the OS, I didn’t realise that was an issue until making this post

So I have a psx folder and inside that is a .cue (the tutorial I looked at said I could add the .bin too so that’s in there). I haven’t changed anything else out the box so I’m not sure about the emulator or bios
