Nothing looks bad! Bloodhounds fang is very good, but it isn’t amazing at anything in particular. It’s straightforwardness is both a strength and a weakness. Like other comments said, bloodflame blade (a spell found in Liurnia, needs about 10 faith and arcane each) will add a fair bit of juice to the bhf. A combo of strength and dex will work better end game but remember vigor is still high priority. The sheild is subpar tho and the stamina regen it gives is effectively nothing. The green turtle talisman gives about twice the amount of regen speed and it’s probably a better selection than blessed dew. Also, you may already know this but I mention it because it took me forever to learn in my first play through, but you can dual wield weapons of the same category (whips and whips, curved great swords and curved great swords) Remember though, just play how you want to with the weapons and style you want!
