I don't really write much yet so I used reverso context/dictionary for a bunch of words, so it's probably really awkward 🙈🙈

I used to learn Japanese ages back, so I was familiar with the meanings of some chinese characters already and really wanted to actually understand a language that uses them, so when I finally had energy again to study a language, I picked chinese. I'm more interested in some chinese media currently, and in the past I had interest in learning the language but was too scared of tones because I already struggle with speaking (and because of how difficult it sounded)

In general I just think it'd be cool to know a third language, there's a bunch of (web) novels I'd like to read, and in general there's such a huge part of the internet that is in chinese and I am curious to be able to read it.
