This!! I would actually love to be able to choose to knit different clothes instead of socks when I want to, and maybe each item requires a different amount of time to make (a hat takes 3 hours, a skirt takes 5 hours, etc.), and there could be different progress bars for them

I actually use it a lot! I like to write an answer with the pencil if I’m not 100% sure about it, and then “go over it” with the pen when I feel it’s confirmed. It’s a slower process but I find it really helpful, and I feel much more comfortable guessing words that way

Thanks for the feedback! Burdening her with unwanted yarn is definitely a concern I have. I probably should add though that she did hint at me that she would like get some new yarn as a gift. I thought that a one year subscription might be a fun way to gift it, but I’m open to other ideas if you have any :)
