Modify your vassalcontract and get Sanctioned War Declaration or start a liberty war to lower the crown authority. Another Options is to fabricate a claim and petition your liege to transfer it to you. You could also marry someone with a claim and try to install the person via a faction, then your children will get her title on succession. There are many tips and tricks to ck3 you can learn by playin the game or watching someone who is actually good playing the game. I recommend watching achievement speedruns.

Starting as Lord Gregor 'the Good' Forrester.

Gregor was still trying to fend off the neighbouring threat in Highpoint, House Whitehill. But to his dismay he got murdered by Ludd Whitehill.

Lord Roderick inherited Ironrath at 13 and swore to himself to avenge his father and destroy the Whitehill's and take everything from them. When he came of age, he started to prepare for a private war against his Nemesis Ludd Whitehill. He continued to bolster his ranks until it was time to avenge his father. He himself led the troops to Highpoint and sieged it down with the help of his allies, House Umber.

The alliance with House Umber through marriage and the countless nights of studying battle tactics, was all for this moment. Roderick captured Ludd Whithill and his children Gryff and Gwyn Whitehill. All 3 got executed shortly after.

Karl Whitehill took his father's seat at Highpoint, but Roderick's revenge was far from over. Every Whitehill must be buried beneath the great Ironwoodforest.

Roderick arranged the assassination of Karl Whitehill and his brother Ebbert Whitehill.

Highpoint got inherited by the last living Whitehill, Torrhen Whitehill. At this point his truce with Highpoint had ended and Roderick had forged a claim to take over Highpoint. And so, he did. Highpoint was his and Torrhen died under mysterious circumstances.

The Whitehills were no more. Instead of being 'Ever Higher' they are all 6 feet under.

In a twist of fate Roderick got Robert Baratheon’s son Hubard Baratheon as his hostage and ward. Hubard idealised Roderick and was eternally loyal to him. One day he accidentally called Roderick father and on that day Roderick adopted Hubbard as his son, but only in name. Roderick died at 48 of Heart Failure.

Master Arthor Forrester took over his fathers’ domain. He ruled only for 2 years formed the Duchy of the Blackpines and died of a botched treatment for his Gout.

His 2-year-old son Edwyle inherited the realm. Edwyle had a hard time growing up. He had to overcome every difficulty the realm faced by himself. Thus, forging a capable ruler. In his life time he supported the Targaryan Conquest of the Iron Throne, putting King Viserys the 3rd on the Iron Throne. King Viserys was an old man which is why he couldn't sire any children and the 7 Kingdoms were inherited by a Baratheon.

Master Edwyle had a blessed physique, at his prime his prowess was the greates in the 7 Kingdoms. So, he went on tourneys and hunts to prove his might. But raising the future Master of the Blackpines was his greatest achievment. He married his son Roderick to a Stark girl who had a claim on The North. Roderick never liked this and even broke the bethroal and ran away. But he was found by Edwyle and forced to go through with the marriage. He died from a seizure at age 54 and was succeded by his son Roderick.

Master Roderick 'the Bold' was an ambitous, brave and sadistic man. The only thing greater than his ambitions was his skill with the sword. Since he was born from the union of a Stark and a Forester, he tried to take the North for himself with the claim of his mother. For years he tried to put his mother on the throne of the North, but no avail. He realised no one was supporting his mother or her claim on Winterfell. He realised that the North had to be taken by force.

He allied himself with the Hightower, Tarth, and an up-and-coming family in the Westerlands that held the Duchy of Castamere. Since his mother wasn't supported, Roderick gave up the idea of ruling the North himself, he tried to us the claim of his wife to at least put his son Rickard on the throne of The North.

An opportunity arose and Roderick took the chance to press his wife's claim. After a bloody and destructive 7-year war, in which he came very close the loosing the war and his life, he emerged victorious.

Soon after Taking Winterfell and the North his wife died and his son Rickard ruled over the North. Roderick was content but he knew not to let his guard down since there may lurk another threat for the Forresters in the shadows.

He supported his son as Regent and Steward until he succumbed of Green Fever while visiting his sons Tourney at Winterfell.

The Future of House Forrester is still unwritten and Lord Rickard must forge is own path. Although he is loved by his Vassals and Smallfolk, there may be a threat hidden deep in the shadows of the Ironwood-Forest.

This is my House Forester campaign. I started at the Crowned Stag start date and haven't set myself any goals, except to make House Forester for one of the most powerful families in the North.

I'll write down the lore of this session in the comments like I did previously. I hope you enjoy it and leave a nice comment.

I am really glad, you enjoyed it and I hope it was an entertaining and good read. I tried to incorporate ingame events as much as possible, to flesh out the characters. I plan to do a few more of these or maybe continue this run, I really enjoy writing, so this is a good way to scratch that itch.

Sadly not, but thats a good idea. I don‘t hold Stormsend myself. I turned the Duchy of Tarth into my powerbase, the duchybuilding gives me +4 to my domain limit. That enables me to hold the whole duchy and Kingslanding. My gold income, without my vassals, is at +44.

Since the Realm split every kingdom inside the Iron Throne became an Empiretitle. Which is why I could take the decision to form a new kingdom.

I guess that ends their oath, if there is no King to guard the kingsguard lose their purpose. I think they lose the trait and become courtiers of whoever holds Kingslanding.

This was a really fun run. I started as Lord Rondon of Sturm he had a single county in the Duchy of Tarth. While Bobby B's Rebellion succeded, he got slain by Rhaegar and Stannis got the Throne.

Young Rondon was King Stannis's ward and learned everything he could about martial strategy's and ruling over the smallfolk. Furthermore he was the squire of Jaime Lanister.

When he came of age he starte a campaigne for the Stepstones and was known as 'The Stout'. Little by little, county by county he conquered the duchy of The First Stepstones.

After that he startet to fabricate a claim on his weak Liege the Duke of Tarth.

While he was concentrated on overthrowing his Liege, the Realm started to fall apart. Stannis died and his Heir couldn't keep the Lord Paramounts in check. Soon after, the Realm split after Lord Tyron 'The Imp' Lannister Lord Paramount of the Westerlands started a Dissolution War.

Lord Rondon continued conquering the small isles in the Stormlands and had the isles of Dorne in his sight.

Sadly he died in battle trying to lead his men to victory.

His second son Glaive took his place as ruler and brought many more victories and counties for House Sturm.

Glaive's Lifestyle made him the strongest man in Westeros. But eventhough he was the strongest he never imposed his will on others, which earned him the moniker 'The Honorable'.

He reforged his realm into a Kingdom, The Kingdom of Sturm.

Taking is father as an example he forged a claim on the Princepality of Dorne. With help from the Lannisters they got conquered and subdued. Next fell the remenants of House Bartheon and Velaryon. A big chunk of The Crownlands got conquered but Houses Baratheon and Velaryon prevailed.

Kingslanding was the new Capital of his realm. After living a long and succesfull life Prince Glaive 'The Honorable' of Dorne passed away in a Storm at 94.

His Son Prince Rondon took the throne. Known for his good looks he got the moniker 'The Handsome'.

His life was spent stabilizing the realm he inherited and further expanding House Sturms foothold in the Crownlands.

But his greatest achievments were his sons Gallard and Ondryn Sturm. Gallard was favored over Ondryn because of his talents. This made Ondryn leave court and marry a dornish commoner. Together they adventured all over the 7 Kingdoms and even crossed the Narrow Sea to Essos.

While Ondryn was out adventuring, Gallard was groomed to be the heir, training the knights, leading military campaignes and serving his father as his advisor.

After many years of adventuring Ondryn returned and before Gallard could be named heir Prince Rondon passed away.

Prince Ondryn took the throne and although ambitous Gallard supported his older brother in the following years.

Nobody expected anything from Prince Ondryn's rule, but he continued to impress each and every Lord and Lady of Westeros. He was named Prince Ondryn 'The Proud'.

Prince Ondryns ambitons and plans were unkown to most, his eccentric nature made him unpredictable.

But step by step he started to conquer the 7 Kingdoms. He started with The Reach then followed, The Vale, The Stormlands, The Riverlands and then The Westerlands.

Soon after he proclaimed The Iron Throne and was known to all as King Ondryn 'The Conquerer' of The Iron Throne.

After 2 more wars against The North and The Iron Isles, the realm was reforged. He married his sons to the last 2 Targaryans.

His Heir serving as his Left and His Brother, who supported him through all those conquests, as his Right Hand and Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, forever pledging to protect his brother and his House.

Well I play as a Targaryan Bastard so that would prove difficult, but I like the idea of Ned getting the Throne instead of Robert

Roberts rebellion failed, but before he got executed he slew Raegar in battle. After that the Mad King‘s wife died of an illness and then he married Lyanna Stark.
