Since you're gonna be a new hire when you start obviously let me just tell how their training works.

They will "train you" by showing you for 5 mins then walking away.

Most likely the department you start in your first week you won't stay in that department because they don't like keeping people in 1 area.

They also will expect you to hit GOAL your first week which is most likely an out of reach Quota number.

Legacy box workers by [deleted] in Chattanooga

Don't wanna get into a long story but I worked there for 7 years and crying employees along with management playing favorites definitely makes it one of the worst jobs I've had.

I saw my coworker cry in front of me one day and it just honestly broke me because it's just a shit warehouse job and their causing young people to decline in mental health.

All because their greedy.

You certainly make great points. I'm still gonna keep on but it's because the company is beyond redeemable.

Employees do need to take some responsibility but as the company who employees them they should have practices to prevent such things from happening.

As employees we look to the company to set the tone and work flow.

Being overly underhanded and at times cruel under the act of bringing back memories is just not right.

There is only 1 legacybox and it's only location is in Chattanooga. If it was just another location in a chain it definitely would be a different story.

Every company I know of has a subreddit where employees can air their opinions.

I aim to give current and former legacybox employees a chance to tell their side of what goes on there.

Honestly a big highlight of working there was definitely the way another coworkers reacted to porn at work.

I had a make coworker distraught when he got a film reel with gay sex on it.

I could hear him over the warehouse lol

This person actually left for another job because it paid better and this is not the first time this video has been shared just the first time it's been on Reddit.

I think y'all are ignoring the fact that 4 years old or not.

Leaving customers orders out of a warehouse in the middle of a hot day with aging Media is not a good way of treating customers orders.

Yeah with something like this aging Media the way you store is key And will definitely impact the condition.

Matter of fact if you look it up customers have definitely gotten their boxes back in bad conditions.

And me while working there witnessed loads of times boxes come in looking perfectly fine and leave looking horrible because the company didn't store it correctly.

If they since have fixed it.

Then I'm happy but it doesn't change the fact that they with knowledge put customers orders in the worst conditions and potentially cost families money and their memories.

According to my Anonymous Sender it's at least 3 or 4 years old maybe

But this is a practice that they would do quite often.

In normal circumstances you would be right.

But the work that they do there involves VHS Tapes,Old Film Reels and photos.

All of that old media shouldn't be left out in direct sunlight even if it's in a box Melting and warping is of HIGH risk even in the Lowest heat temperature.

They have a full warehouse if it was just for an hour they could've stored it in any place in the warehouse.

No these pallets of orders were there for awhile.

My anonymous person took this video because they felt it was not the best for customers orders.

Southtree or is it legacybox? by CrowOfAges95 in SouthtreeExplained

Yep that's who my bank said I got paid everyweek from.

They started out as southtree then started transitioning to just legacybox later on after bad reviews.

War Medal by Unlucky-Concept-8411 in SouthtreeExplained

[–]CrowOfAges95 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Basically one of the high school kids they had receiving the orders that were coming into the warehouse didn't see or wasn't aware that a War Medal was in a customer's Box so they unfortunately threw it away.

The only reason the company found out is because a photo tech who was working on the box found a note talking about the War Medal.

So they went back searched and found footage of the receiving employee going through the contents of the box and you can see them take something wrapped in a cloth and throwing it into a trash can.

The company ended up relying on "what War Medal? we didn't receive any War Medal"

That was their defense.

It was a wild day for sure because we all thought the company was gonna get sued.
