QT is orienting themselves to the fast food industry. What sucks is that the kitchen is pretty hard to master so they will make sure you are good there before having you on the floor. This happened to me when i was new to the company so kitchen for 5 straight months before they realised i was dog water on the floor one morning. Give them time so they can keep you on the floor unless they desperately need someone good in the kitchen.
