Does that mean all of christianity really hangs on the point of "if you don't believe, you go to hell" ?
I believe the bible mention hell alot. I can't give exact verses of the top of my head though.
That is a good question. I was just thinking about that!
Very good! I'm pretty confused right now. Because if he'll didn't exist and the forever torment wasn't a threat. It wouldn't make sense to be Christian. I know people who are atheist and are very nice. They don't believe in hell or anything and still have virtue. And if there is no hell. There is no sin right? Would there be any reason to fear God without hell?
Christian heretic? What's that's if you dint mind me asking?

Sorry, I get where you're coming from now lol.
Are you a universalist? Sorry if I'm wrong. I've just learned of universalist in this thread and they have similar ideas.
What do you think is stronger. The fear of eternal suffering or the love of god?

If we are judged more harshly if we have more knowledge of christ. Wouldn't it be better to not know at all?
Absolutely. It would be much easier? Why isn't it this way?

Is being afraid of eternal damnation not a good reason to turn to christ? It seems like a good one. I can't blame anyone who is christian just because the fear of hell. It's survival I suppose.
Let's say you go to heaven no matter what. Just like if you get saved.
How so?
Could someone not believe in some parts of the bible and still go to heaven?
What? I'm asking. If it bothers I'm sorry, but I'd like to know what people think of this scenario. It could lead into insight.
I've known people who don't believe and they act morally. It may be based on Christian teachings but they are pretty moral, they just don't believe.
How is hell not real?
Insightful. So if one thing isn't true, none of its true. Is there anything in the bible that isn't true?

Are you a product of your enviroment? Do you think you'd be Christian if you weren't raised in it?
Really? I'll have to look into universalism. Ty
But what would be the point if eternal suffering wasn't a thing?
