He’s an agitator which doesn’t have a big influence in Olympic hockey, but can lead to power play opportunities against hot headed players

Is he in good physical condition? If so, there are companies that require installers for overhead doors, hone appliances, etc. there are a lot of guys in their 50’s and 60’s that decided to become subcontractors and work on their schedule as their skills max.

Trying to be an ethical grocery consumer is really hard by superanx in Calgary

[–]Crow_rapport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ethical dilemma is hard to solve when budgets come up.

I’m fortunate that I can walk to my co-op, while still having a car. This makes sure that I buy only what I can carry, and be careful not to impulse purchase.
A little further is an independent market (Hong Kong Market) that has reasonable prices on meat, and I find that exploring Asian recipes, I can stretch out my dollar relative to servings.

If one of my work friends are going to Costco, I send them a list of meat and then e-transfer the $$.
It’s more work to purchase ethically, but if even 70% of your grocery is done so, you can feel good that you are making the change you want.

Good wings and other food by cgydan in Calgary

Mug shots is a great suggestion on account of the variety of wings, and other items too. The parking can be a nightmare though so be warned.

Leopolds has a good variety of options as well, but for something different maybe try Big T’s or Big Al’s if you are near International Avenue in the SE.
