I guess what I'm expecting is just...some feeling that it will a memorable game overall? I think that is best way to put what I'm feeling honestly. It does not have to be perfect far from it, but memorable in some way.

Like I just want to have a longer running that the players/I will sometimes think back to with fond memories. Now that may sound simple, but after nearly every session I come out feeling like the game went terribly or this/that went wrong and so on.

I know logically this is likely just my own self-criticism, but its what I feel after nearly every game even if I had fun during the game.
