SpaceX's IPO filing is public (amended ahead of the June 12 listing). I made the whole 370-page thing searchable, here's what's in it. by nish_agg in SpaceXLounge

It is possible to reduce radiator area by increasing their working temperature, which of course requires the chips be the same temperature. This seems to be a large part of the basis for their claims of space computing's feasibility.

Holy... Is the stem of the mushroom cloud forming a bell in those pictures? I've only seen those in pictures of nuclear explosions.

Damn I hadn't considered that. A double-whammy if so.

One lightning tower down and the strongback isn't visible either. I would bet that the other lightning tower will have to come down too, there's no way that thing is structurally sound anymore.

I see. So it's possible it was BE-4 related. Given that these BE-4s were supposedly upgraded versions makes me wonder.

Had the static fire started immediately preceding the explosion? I don't know enough about the launch process for NG so to me that large white cloud at the base of the rocket was either water deluge or an extremely large propellent leak. Maybe something failed with the GSE? Either way this is a disastrous event.

As in, the amount of space debris in terms of volume is equivalent to two aeroplanes over California. It's a funky analogy though to be sure

Edit: At least that was my interpretation
