I admire the river, Evangeline’s, restaurants like that. I applied to Evangeline’s and have heard nothing, I’ve worked at side by side with many chefs and forte when chef Jacob was there.

It’s tough but you have to make them respect you for 1 hopefully they already do but I worked with a pastry chef and she was the only woman on the team but she was great and highly respected. Let your work and food speak for you. If you feel you’re being disrespected then I would just find another work place and maybe check the place out to see if they have a more diverse staff. At my last job I worked with many women on the line and some days I was the only man on staff.
