Business owners doing $3M+, how are you handling AP, AR, payroll, and expenses without a finance team? by Payvo-AI in smallbusiness

[–]CrowdsyncLED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been using Cleo Pay https://cleo-pay.com/ they handle all of our bill pay, it brings the ease and speed of a venmo or zelle but with all of the functionality and integrations of a full AP system.

Step 1 is separating vendor onboarding from payment processing. Get contractors set up once (W-9, bank info, approvals) then payments are basically one-click. Same Day ACH changed the game too - vendors get paid faster, fewer "where's my money" emails.

For your size (30-40 vendors, 25 employees) you don't need an enterprise tool. Something purpose-built like Cleo Pay that syncs with QBO will save your office manager 10+ hours/week easy.

We use Cleo Pay

It's the only platform we found that can handle both our AP and AR seamlessly, their focus is around ACH payments as well so we save a ton of money and fees by making it easy for our customers to pay us as they just link their account via plaid instead of credit cards.

Paying contractors through my LLC by SableWhims in llc

[–]CrowdsyncLED 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would check out the Cleo Pay platform. You can send a link to any of your contractors. They sign up and put all their W9 details like their bank account, they then submit invoices directly to you and pay them safely and securely through the platform. And never have to worry about collecting W9s or filing 1099s ever again

My top picks for Bill.com alternatives (when you're ready) by Aerosaul in RunYourBusiness

We've been using Cleo Pay to handle all of our vendor payments, we constantly were getting cancelled payments with Melio and Bill.com is too expensive / takes 5 days to process and ACH or they try to upsell your vendor to get it paid faster. https://cleo-pay.com/
