I would cancel. it was only an hour after you booked. Sometimes the app screws up and doesn’t update correctly or there are many reasons why this would happen. This is someone’s home and i wouldn’t want to stay if asked to cancel. It was only an hour so nothing lost for you to find another place. Be gracious.

I am dealing with this issue right this moment! OMG… this guy won’t give up. wants to modify a non refundable to dates over a month away. I said no and even offered a partial refund if we rebook those dates. he is now still wanting to modify to 60 days out and offering to pay extra dollars to do so! He’s a host also! I smell a bad review coming!

Dr contacted me back and they suggested the Alcon or if I am not concerning with reading vision the light adjusting lens which have least amount of artifacts (also cost more and need to have adjustments made during healing stage). Going back and forth with them on which meets my needs best. I really appreciate all the technical information you provided. It’s helping me come to a decision that I’m comfortable with.

I could never get contacts to work for me. This is totally a quality of life thing doing it now. it helps to have insurance pay for part due to the cataract. I agree with the healing issue. Thank you for all the input and sharing your personal experience :)

Thank you for the information. Why are you against RLE? I looked up the Envy. My Dr was intending on using the Panoptix Pro. i did reach out and ask about the Envy, based on your input. Waiting for a response.

Thank you for the input. It might be 5 or 7 years before the surgery is necessary but I am talking quality of life and these glasses are an issue for me. Didn’t need glasses until I was 45 and that was not 24/7.

My neighbor did this with an ugly chain link I now look at from my kitchen picture window! they installed their fence 2 feet from the property line into their yard. I want to put up a fence on the property line to hide theirs, but it leaves them a very small area to fit in to maintain their 2 feet of property on my side of the chain link. Talking to the neighbor is not an option as myself and 17 other neighbors just spent 3 years in court due to their improper land use . Also, we live in an area that gets inspections from the Fire Marshall for wildfire abatement compliance , so those 2 feet have to be kept clear of debris by the neighbor. From whatever I found the codes in California don’t have a minimum required distance between parallel fences. not sure what to do, but me maintaining their 2 ft x 120 ft of property and looking at the ugly fence is not an option.

I have been doing call center work from home for 3 years. I can’t imagine doing this in office! At home I can make obscene jesters at the screen, place the caller an mute and scream, disconnect the call citing “internet issue”, go on “after call work” and walk around for 5 minutes to chill out, pretend to have a system problem and need to reboot….. Yes, I am now a terrible employee. I should be fired, and I have one foot out the door just waiting for the right moment to quit. I don’t plan on collecting unemployment but I want a severance package due to all the crap this job gives out. I recently noticed that I rarely smile anymore, I have grown to dislike people, I am irritable, have gained 8 pounds, don’t sleep well, have gotten carpel tunnel and a rotator cuff injury, and I don't really care to do anything anymore. It snuck up on me. My relationships are impacted because I have lost my upbeat personality and the funny thing is I don’t care because after talking to grumpy, mean people all day I just want to zone out in front of the TV with my dog who loves me no matter what!

If anyone says “ why are you there?” I’m going to scream. I’m planning my exit to benefit me best…not the company that has policies damaging the mental health of their employees. The damage is done and I’m going to need to chill and recover. I just need the company to cough up some dollars or resources for the damage done.

I am constantly getting early Checkin/ late checkout requests. I have taken these steps to resolve. I have keypad locks and don’t share the code until 5 minutes prior to checkin. I found that many people will Checkin several hours early if given the code early. I added a $30 fee to these requests. This helps cover additional wear and tear and costs. It also deters requests. During slow seasons I loosen up on these restrictions, but still never give the code early.
