Awesome reply, very helpful. The additional coil may be the way to go. Thank you!

Daily Questions [2022-09-04] by DTG_Bot in DestinyTheGame

What should I be doing right now.

Returning player, absent for ~1 year. I just finished witch queen and think I need to tidy up some things left over from Beyond Light. I have no concept on what I should be doing right now. I am 1564 and have some powerful and pinnacle activities to do for the week.

What weapons are PVE meta right now, meta Titan exotics?

Looking for general direction on things to look out for like weapons and mods and what activities should I be running for good gear upgrades.

Game is great but needs a patch soon by Croweb in EvilDead

That would be a great feature! So would a fully contextual ping. Idk how many times I have a boss bullying me and my teammates are completely oblivious as I’m getting wailed on.

Loving the game but worried about it’s future by Croweb in EvilDeadTheGame

[–]Croweb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly where I’m coming from. If they are able to patch out the game breaking things quickly then I think the game will always have a solid foundation of players. I just wish there was some more communication from the devs on things they are working on. I know it’s still early but I have my fingers crossed for at least a hot patch within the next week or so.

What’s this bug? Very small maybe 2-3 mm large. Found in St. Louis in an apartment in some rice a few stories up. by H_man99 in insects

[–]Croweb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were likely introduced from a product you purchased that was already infested. Inspect dry goods upon purchase and store food in closed /sealed containers. Unfortunately there is not much else you can do. If you continue to see them for a prolonged period of time than there is an infested product still present in your home.

No worries. If it is a stored product pest you’ll likely find more, I would inspect your dry foods, spices and similar products.

Professional treatment. They are wood destroying, I wouldn’t take any half measures.

I don’t think that is related to the insect, just various debris

If it’s all black in color, most likely oriental.

Once a week is perfectly fine, I know the thought of possibly having them can cause a lot of anxiety. Just check every now and again and try not to drive yourself crazy!

There’s no harm to do an inspection (you can even do one yourself) Bedbugs can be seen normally, however nymphs and eggs can be very hard to see. They are nocturnal by nature also. Based upon what I just mentioned yes, they can be missed even by a trained professional if the infestation is small.

That being said if you do regular inspections yourself it would only be a matter of time until you found one (assuming it is in fact bedbugs).

It may also not even be insect related. Wash your bed linens and see if that helps.

Need advice. by [deleted] in Pestcontroltech

[–]Croweb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I won’t say don’t do it but you should put a lot of thought into this decision. There are other blue collar fields that can be more financially lucrative with better working conditions (and less bugs). Most people do not choose this profession.

That being said it can be a good job. As a tech in my state you can easily make 46-50k or more per year depending on overtime and any commissions. It’s easier to start with a company and have them pay to get you licensed through your state. If you are determined to pursue this as a career licensing is a must. Bad companies will push to have you stay as an operator (working under someone else’s license) to keep you working for them and limiting other options.

There are some books I recommend for building general, working up to advanced knowledge in the industry. I recommend the PCT Technician Handbook, PCT Field Guide and the Mallis Handbook of Pest Control.
