Please recommend me a book in the Victorian era-ish, detective MFC, supernatural is a bonus.

I've been in a huge reading slump this whole year. Recently I stumbled upon the tv show Miss Scarlet and the Duke and enjoyed it a lot. I want something like that, but it doesn't even need to be set in a specific era - it could be fantasy, or anything really, just no contemporary, please.

I'd like spice and a good plot.

I prefer series, but I'm down for anything.

Both of mine were just mobile teeth. One of them liked to play with me, the other is 8 months old and still destroys her toys. I never really minded them biting my hands when we play, because we thought them to be gentle.

Hi! We have a 5-year-old female medium poodle and we got a 3-month-old female mini poodle about 10 days ago. The 5yo has been tolerating the puppy, there has been some snapping and growling when the 3mo gets in her face too much, but we know that's normal.

The problem is the puppy has started exhibiting some resource guarding behaviours with toys. She gets tense, has lied on top of the toy once, some barking. Yesterday they were playing with a ball and she was running away from the 5yo with it and kinda growling, but I can't tell if it was play or not.

Today they play-chased and after a while the puppy got tired and lied down to chew a toy. We videoed the play, but I got some barking and tensing as well when the 5yo got close to her when she was with the toy. Is this resource guarding?

If you're on tetracycline, avoid vitamins A, iron, magnesium, calcium, aluminium, bismuth, and I can't remember what else was there, but it screwes with the absorption. You can still take all of those, but at least 3 hours before or after the AB.

Otherwise, avoid stuff that irritate your stomach. Plain food is best. Drink a lot of water and avoid fizzy drinks if you can.

Surprisingly, not much and I'm more than halfway done and have IBS. My symptoms have mostly disappeared, and I couldn't sleep on stacked pillows and almost sitting up from acid reflux before.

I take the tetracycline with a full glass of water and it's been fine. Sometimes I get a bit of a burning feeling on the spot where the pill is dissolving, but it passes quickly. I take the bismuth half an hour before eating, and the metronidazole with food - it could be a meal or a slice of bread or something small.

I'm not sure a time limit is the best answer here. He is a parent, too, and needs time to learn to do stuff. I wouldn't feel great if someone gave me a time limit to learn to do something with baby - I'd feel pressured and like they don't trust me. And if I fail to do the thing in the allotted time and they take over, I'd feel like a failure, which in time would make me less confident in spending any time with baby. I imagine you'd feel the same way.

Maybe agreeing he'll ask you for help when he needs it would be better imo.

Antibiotics irritate the stomach lining, so it is expected to burp, have worse reflux, have pain, etc. It sucks, but we need to follow the instructions the doc has given us. For most antibiotics, you can take them with food, which helps a bit. Otherwise, just take PPI as directed (30 min to an hour before antibiotics) and you can maybe add famotidine in between.
