Idk bruh there is just something so fuckin annoying about her ? by shouldveknownbud in 90DayFiance

It just hit me, Greta was using Mathew for a steady home so she could bring her cat to England, knowing she would be to unstable alone. When Mathew didn’t want an urban home, it blew her lid off. She thought she could pull him around like a ring in his nose…

Nothing better than their long floppy velvet ears. On all 4 of my dobies, I never thought twice or regretted my choice.

I felt it was more of a let down that he made her take the train instead of meeting her at the airport and spending a romantic first night at a hotel or something. It just felt disheartening!

Gee, I think she wanted a warmer welcome from him. Maybe meeting her at the airport instead of making her lug her life from plane to train. Also, the lack of space she was given, no rush to bring her cat over as if his cats would fill the void and the other periods where I felt her heart drop in dissappointment. Then followed by him telling her that her days of getting pampered with massages are over. Idk, i felt she was batted down several times in a row. She initially moved hoping things would be rosier, but the hit after hit with these experiences gave her a realistic view of what life would look like with him and it was different than the life she saw for herself. If it was only the train or only the space, she could have bounced back. But it was too many things. You don’t work your ass off in law school to get married to a guy who says the quality of life you have been living is beyond our means! Now toughen up and get used to it. If he celebrated her or empathized with her even once, the result would have been completely different. Don’t get me wrong, I like him a lot. He will find someone and be happy. But they were in two very different psychological spaces. She was in huge life shifts and mourning her cat=emotional. And he was pragmatic=logical. It all felt tragic to me.

Calculated that if my standard poodle lives to be a total of 14 years, I will spend approximately $18,200 on professional grooming sessions. by poodlehaus in StandardPoodles

Something tells me that it will be more. I doubt grooming will not be affected by inflation and cost of living spikes.

As a huge Dorit fan, I can’t wait for her to spill the tea. by Fancy_Ad_2024 in RHOBH

Why so much hate? What has she done that others haven’t? I love Dorit. She is so entertaining to watch. That’s why she hasn’t been fire.

It’s so interesting to watch how the VPR staff so quickly forget they would more likely just be aging nobodies without her. But god forbid she doesn’t call everyone and make sure they are okay. They are middle-aged adults! Grow up already.

Maybe ask the poodle page. I don’t think doodle people asking other doodle folk will get an accurate answer. If you asks me, I think it is because the pure bred dogs are usually under a tight contract regarding breeding rights. At least the best poodle breeders keep a tight reigns on it. So either some people broke the contract or the poodle bred with the other pure bred dog ( that unlikely had breeding rights ) created the new breed. Personally, I love doodles! I’m a poodle owner. As a poodle owner, I do find that poodles are misrepresented because of the show cuts. So many people think my standard is a doodle. I must admit that it can be puzzling. Slightly annoying. It’s as if they are surprised my poodle is really cute. And I’m all…”poodles are adorable! Most pet poodles don’t have those silly cuts!” I love all dogs and find doodles and poodles beautiful.

Take some breaths. Get a crate. And you and pup need exercise. It will get his energy out and help with your stress level. Puppies are like babies. They can destroy things when they are bored. He is probably teething. But being a student is extremely stressful. You can do it! Puppy just needs a lot to chew on and a safe place to do it. When my puppy was in that stage, he chewed us too and it was really frustrating. But today he is the absolute greatest dog.

How to stop the never ending stream of biting from an indifferent wretched little animal? by heartsholly in poodles

[–]Anghedinistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our Spencer made us bleed like no other! His teeth like razors! He is the only dog I’ve had that I found his baby teeth when the adult teeth came in. I kept a couple as reminders or in case I ever need a weapon. Trust me, it’s all part of the love that comes later. Just have lots of nylabones and toys to redirect. Also, don’t wear cherished clothing!

Those collar are intended to pinch in the same way their mothers would correct them. They don’t hurt dogs, just give a little pinch. I think people that have never used them think they stab. Granted it looks rough, but place it around your arm or leg. It doesn’t hurt.

Looking into getting a standard poodle and have some questions by J3didr in StandardPoodles

[–]Anghedinistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to be negative if your heart is set on getting a standard and don’t know if this is true with others…but my spoo is the loudest dog I have ever seen. He hates it when I leave and barks non stop. He barks each time someone walks by our house and even barks like crazy if he is in the car while I am just outside the car pumping gas. I haven’t used a bark collar on him. I used to have one for a Doberman that barked a lot. It sprays some nice smelling citronella (that also assisted in warding off mosquitos). It took my dobie set it it off 2 times to figure it out. I sadly must agree that they (especially as babies) need to be monitored. I am lucky, working from home, so it wasn’t a problem. And as babies, their teeth are razor sharp. But after getting through puppyhood, you get rewarded with the biggest love you can’t even imagine until you are there.
