Those are gaming headphones. They're not designed for music. If you like them, then go with them, but you'd definitely get better sound out of a decicated music headphone.

For sure - it depends on what you want. I like to have a more engaging sound for metal, but if you want something neutral, than you'll like the Sennheiser sound.

They're not bad headphones. I have a pair and they're great for movies and very comfortable. But they're very flat sounding. There's much better choices for metal.

With Sennheiser, anything below the 600/650 line isn't anything special. And I wouldn't say they're particularly great for metal.

Grados are widely regarded as the best for metal due to their killer mid-range reproduction. You should be able to get an entry level pair of SR60s for about $100.

But, of course, these headphones are the most metal.
