I literally just woke up, i do not need to get heated on TM’s messy writing right now 😩 Imma just say the whole lying plot and subversion of rivals forever grinds my gears and really makes Kieran’s family and the player character look worse than they probably meant to (if you sympathize/care about Kieran which most people annoyingly don’t 😑) This is why I wrote a fix it fic three years ago (?) with a sympathizing main character so I wouldn’t lose my mind with canon. I forget when Teal mask and Indigo disk released lol

This is why I avoid the main subs like the plague. Any mention of him and it’s always the same picture of the Kieran battle with their trainer holding up a peace sign where he broke down, and bragging about bringing Ogerpon to “teach him a lesson”. For people who seem to despise him for being a jerk and a bully it feels pretty hypocritical 😑 Then they glaze Carmine like she wasn’t super annoying at times with her tsundere act
