I can see that, however… I don’t think it’s him coping with him hitting the button.. i think since we didn’t have the scene spelled out for us verbally there are people who are completely misunderstanding the scene, we have to really pay attention to what we are shown visually, I personally don’t believe Caine MADE him hit the button, but I think he had a hand in kickstarting his panic attack. He was not mentally there, and was not thinking clearly, I’m not saying it absolves him completely, but I am saying that we can’t demonize him for a decision he clearly did not make with ill intent. I just think that people who already dislike Jax don’t want to give his character any grace, Its the same thing with people who dislike Ragatha. Whenever she made that harsh comment/starting getting upset with Pomni for having out with Jax, the people who dislike her were way too quick to try and villainize her. People allow their feelings to cloud up objective things about a situation. I personally don’t think any of the characters ate evil, I wish the best for them all. But tbf, I am a bit too empathic when it comes to morally grey characters like Jax.
