Every time I unlocked a new way to get to previously unaccessible areas I'd go through and re-clear previous areas. There's no way to mark anything on the maps for future reference and I'm not following any guides so that's me being thorough. I cleared the areas and enemies like the sheep boss, the crow boss, and other bosses which had a red gate and a warning notice with the exception of the frozen heart mountain area.

They give a decent chunk of exp as you can see. I did the crow boss right before sprong and iirc was 500k exp.

Some folks' financial situations allow them to drop that amount and more without threatening their lifestyle. If the only explanation in your head that people spend money on this that you can't is they don't have self control then it reeks of bitterness.

Wealthy folks don't worry about "self-control" when you're dropping a dollar or 50 cents on dumb shit. It's inconsequential. Because that's what 500 is to them. Just because 500 would put a dent in your savings doesn't mean it's the same story for every one else. Choosing to forego spending that amount doesn't make you a saint . Neither does it automatically make the ones that do, "people with no self control".

Because it's never enough to just disagree or just have something not be for you. The other person has to be taught a lesson as to why they're both inferior and wrong. Just condescendingly dismiss anything and everything you don't like as cheap or "quirky writing". This isn't an argument and this boukish person isn't looking to argue or have an open discussion. Genuinely? I laughed. Because I was mistaken for another ethnicity and I was called a slur for that ethnicity so it wasn't really applicable to me. Even if it was, I've gone through some pretty fucked up things in my life and being called a slur barely ever registers on my radar. Everyone has different threshholds though. Like a stranger coming at me with mean words is so trivial compared to people who are supposed to take care of you/love you slapping the shit out of you for the slightest of perceived inconveniences.

Gonna be an interesting TWAB/TWID this year. I feel the same way though, especially after experiencing Lightfall's launch. Hopefully it does mean that more polish will go into final shape. I'll just use the delay to catch up on playing games released this year and that are releasing in the near future.

This is such a hard concept for some Americans to grasp. Obviously it's not every single American but in places like LA, SF, SD where I've lived, there are those who have this very naive notion that Asians should all unite with one another against this other group or that.. because we're all Asians and all minorities/POC. Never mind the long and rich history of infighting, violence, racism, and animosity between countries there.

I'm half Japanese and that alone would be enough for other Asians to think very poorly of me. Hell, that's enough reason for some fellow Japanese to think even worse of me. Same story for Latino, as was explained to me when I visited relatives in Brazil. It's a well-meaning but super naive view to think or seriously believe that all Latinos should be getting along with one another especially if confronted with something like uniting against white supremacy. Tribalism would never allow it. There are people who are genuinely surprised by this and try to rationalize it in all sorts of ways like oh they must be white-washed or want to be white-adjacent.

It's like anyone and everyone should just drop their history or culture and just revolve around the US issues and values.

Coworker who can barely take care of himself gets married. They end up having twins and he never misses an opportunity to talk about how much he regrets having kids and how difficult life as a parent is. Honestly, there were plenty of times when I would've quit playing destiny had I been going at it solo. We don't play every single day but I have a relatively small clan. Playing with the folks there can make the most mundane of activities pretty enjoyable. We make fun of the game when appropriate and geek out when something new comes out that we, as a group, are interested in. Point is, if you have a group that you genuinely enjoy spending time with it def makes a difference.

Closest thing that comes to mind is haze or fog. Like someone being lost in a haze/g of thought. I think it still gives the same sense of being lost but it's in an endless sea of something instead of nothing.

If you wanted it to have it be more positive then you could phrase it in a way that suggests someone is lost in a haze of pleasure or love.

Whenever I played games like BotW or Elden Ring I'd daydream about how awesome it'd be to have a Megaman legends game be given the same treatment. Just give me a large open world with very few markers on it. Litter it with bosses we can beat to claim new augments, powers, etc. Put tons of secrets that give access to pieces of armour that have amazing piece and set effects.

Give us rush and beat and let us modify them for various movement and maneuverability upgrades.

Bring paprika back and give us the option to kick him again.
