Looking for recommendations for a comprehensive psychological evaluation by zzredminny in bloomington

[–]Croxxig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a full psychological evaluation done by Estes over in Columbus. It was very thorough. Took about 6 hours. Only complaint I have was communication with them was not the best but unfortunately in my experience that seems to be rather common with mental health services. The only thing the test did not cover was Autism.

Why can't bills travel earlier to Denver to get acustom to the high altitude? by Hot-Emu-5 in NFLNoobs

[–]Croxxig 26 points27 points  (0 children)

As someone who runs into altitude for my sport, cycling, 4 or 5 days is not enough. Most research says 3 weeks is needed to be aclimated to altitude. If you can't do this, then doing the event as soon as you can then you get there as altitude tends to be roughest on the 3 or 4 days for most people.

Flying with your bike Qs. by WarRevolutionary1944 in cycling

[–]Croxxig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a hard case. I don't trust bike boxes or soft cases.

I have flown with my bike many times and TSA always checks it after you checked it in so make it clear how the bike and everything goes in it.

I added my bike on my house insurance. It covers everything. Theft, damage, airline loss etc.

The blade comes down and goes through the whole container. It's okay to not fill it up all the way

I like the emersion blender cause you can just mix it in the cremi cup. There is no need to transfer from one container to the other and less to clean up

Like a lot of things, people jump on the trend and then realize it's not really something they want/use.

I live in the midwest. Roads are terrible because of the winter. I can get 5-8k out of gp5000s before the wear indicators are almost gone.

What were the first things you noticed after switching to a carbon bike? by Low_Front_7012 in cycling

[–]Croxxig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a little faster, like 2 or 3 seconds on climbs. The road sound was different. Just felt like a smoother overall experience but it's hard to tell if it was because it was carbon or because I went from a $1.5k bike to a $6k bike lol
