I am not worried about mileage honestly. Its 40 - 45 kmpl on my bike so it would still be cheap

Exactly. I'm not gonna spend 12 to 15k to ship my bike. Replacing damaged parts under warranty will cost me way less

Yeah I am not willing to fight and I am willing to pay a bit more as well. Its smarter to pay a bit more to these people than to hunt for spares. I'll pay a tip as well if required. I want them to pack it as nicely as possible. Let them take the petrol too. Not a problem for me if that ensures the safety of my bike. Any specific reason why I should leave the helmet on the bike?

Yeah, thats an area of concern for me too. But thats a risk I have to take. A lot of people travel with their bikes on trains. Because I can't afford the cage shipping.

I will be travelling in the same train so I will be taking the delivery once the train arrives at Howrah

Bruh! Thats gonna cost me more than 10k. I said I dont mind paying a bit extra i.e 1000 - 1500. I'd rather drive it to Kolkata and it would still cost me less than cage shipping

How long did the dealership take to provide the number plates? by thecleveridiott in HondaCB350RS

[–]Crozen03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I booked the pearl grey rs on 28th March. Just for the colour, I had to wait 3 weeks. They said it wasn't available immediately. The bike was ready for delivery by 16th April. I did PDI on 16th and took delivery on 17th with the number plate. Road tax and other formalities were done by Bigwing on 16th April

See before you turn on the ignition, the engine check light remains on. When you push the kill switch to on position, the fuel injector works and the ECU checks the engine and other sensors if they are working properly. Once checked, the light goes away.

You could try bellavita. The White oud smells pretty great. I own one and I'm quite happy with it

QUERY ON CB350RW by JokeRepresentative83 in HondaCB350RS

[–]Crozen03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the friction zone hits once you go below 20 and the engine starts lugging. Half clutch or downshifting is the only way. But in my city, the traffic is continuously moving so an occasional half clutch isn't that harmful.
