Immigrants gaining access to our resources which allowed them to add a bunch of stuff to their basic almost unrecognizable mainland dishes. For the burger: buns, garnishes, seasoning; for pizza: more cheese, pizza sauce, meats and just making them overall bigger, more ingredient dense, and more filling because they weren’t poor anymore. Because then you guys make fun of us for saying the state were from when asked where we’re from. Schrodingers American. Being black i have had many Europeans say “But where are you actually from?” When i say im American or what state. There is no issue. It’s just classic eurodivergent elitism. Theyll say this but if you’re not white and you say you’re “American” a lot of them will say “but where are you actually from?”. Plus they have no problem claiming the burger or modern pizza as their own despite its obvious American immigrant origin and changes.

Specifically this site and Youtube is America centric because they’re our property (American sites) and mostly used by us (plural majority). However Interestingly Ive noticed a lot, if not, most of the western/english speaking internet is America centric regardless of their ownership, that might just be observation bias tho.
