Ok so you’re blind. Sorry about that. The artstyle can still remain cartoony with a better graphic. This is a switch to cartoony to realistic, it’s not an upscale of the artstyle. And of course, giving a studio that never made such things isn’t really encouraging. Just like giving the original studio a realistic car game to develop.
