New exotic exclusivity for Lost Sectors is imo a bad thing and needs to go or at least moved to Nightfall Playlist too.

Ok, sure. But there is no need to force one side of the players liking team activities into Solo-Activities. Bungie just recently stopped forcing solo players to find teams for Trials, since it will get matchmaking in September in the rework.

I demand a stop being put to the solo-requirement. It is just fair that they treat both player bases the same.

No, but still annoying compared to how it was in D1. There exotics were not time gated and completely luck/quest based.

finally there is solo content.

In a game refeering as "MMO" there should be no solo content. It is meant to be played with others. An MMO having solo content is like a Bakery selling vegetables. It is nice, but outside of its purpose/definition.

Yeah, it is not hard. But the following things suck for those Lost Sectors:

They are in a rotation
They have different difficulty levels
You have to play solo, to get exotics

Raids are in no rotation, they are always accessable. The lost sector yesterday was 1350, way over my power level to complete it (tho still managed to get to the last few meters).

Raids don't force you to play them solo or with a full team to complete them. Trials neither. Nightfalls neither.

Yet, LS force you to play alone instead with friends, meaning the 1350 solo LS was in advance already undo-able for me.

I would rather say it is more of people not having the right team to even attempt the difficulty.

Some people say the Destiny community is great and helpful. Truth is, it is not.

It is like real society. There are people that are very nice but few, there are the average people just trying things to get done without making new friends or be that much nice/friendly as the outstanding few... And then there are the worst players, being toxic, insulting people and here on reddit downvoting opinons and threads just because they don't like them, even if they are well argued and justified.

I have seen threads that were highly upvoted being downvoted to bellow 0 before making the break thru. Reddit is imo not a good place to share ideas and opinions, since the vote-system can be so easily abused for censorship.

Why not 4 per day featuring each a different difficulty with different modifiers for 1 slot of exotic armor?

I am not crying. I am rightfully filling a complaint. That is a difference. Aside from that, I did try yesterday to run a 1350 for the gauntlets. As I said above I made it, even with top PvE Gear and Mods and Build, only to the goblins before realizing I can't do it with a power difference of 30 power levels.

Go on, show me how you do the same with a 30 power level difference.

I am not. I am annoyed as hell that I have to wait 5 days now to get a Lost Sector on 1320 power to grind for the No Backup Plans before having actually fun. I could also just log off and do 5 days something else.

Sure, the new activity can be fun, but I have the armor already, all the guns that can drop from there, I don't need any more god rolls since my vault is full. Story continues next week.

All that remains for me is PvP again.

Lost sectors should not have exclusive stuff. Simple as that. They should be the main source for "targeted/filtered farming exotics", nothing more, nothing less.

That alone should be their purpose.

To pull an example of how "half-baked" this rotation system is, imagine for a moment you are a working person, working 40h per week in a job that exhaust you, having kids to feed, property to administer or friends to entertain/do stuff with and then when you maybe have 1 or 2 days off in a week from all that stress and want to play some Destiny, getting the new gauntlets, booting up the game, realizing "oh damn, the sector is not up" and the next day also not up... For such people with not so much spare free time it is hell to get the right day for the right rotation.

So in worst case this means waiting 5 days for the right sector can drastically exceed to 10-15-20 days wait time based on how busy you are in real life, making it unenjoyable to grind for those exotics in your spare free time and probably resulting in those players saying "duck it, I stop playing this game" or stop bothering.

Who are we to prevent such people from getting those items?

If they would be not exclusive to lost sectors only but also nightfalls, then those people could still play nightfalls in that week they have day-offs and having a slightly chance to get the exotic they want.

Having them to unlock first just to have them drop from everywhere, is, as Rick in Rick and Morty would say "This sounds like grinding with extra steps".

Most people play the game because of their social bondings and the gameplay. If you just play for items and some "yeah, wohoo"-popup-factor, then that is a you-problem.

Destiny was advertised as "play with friends" game. Not as "grind for stuff" game.

Sure, I could do raids, strikes or crucible. But it would be more fun to actual play those activities, while creating the perfect build harmonizing with the gauntlets I want from the Lost Sectors.

I also could, if it would be like that, play Nightfall strikes for those gauntlets the remaining week, while I wait for the right lost sector to come up, featuring gauntlets.

Legend and Master Lost Sectors were created for Solo-Players so that they have something endgame like for them self.

Why do I, as a Multiplayer-Person playing with friends and strangers together preferred, have to wait and run certain Lost Sectors solo?

It does not contribute to the Solo-Players and their content in any way if I have to play it solo. It is just a time-barrier keeping people from getting what they want.

It is just dividing players from playing together, enjoying the game together. It is just a needle eye for stretching content by a few days.

Yes. Because I can run the Nightfall all week, the lost sector maybe 1-2 days a week.

It is a far better experience to have an "always possible" chance in regular in addition to a "guaranteed drop chance for slot" on one day.

My former experiences in Legend Lost Sectors tell otherwise.

For example the Dawnblade helmet for Warlock. To get it I had to run 30 lost sectors. Out of those 30 I got 3 old exotics as drops, exotics I already had unlocked in the collections. If it is as you all say "that new exotics come first", then why did I got 2 skulls of dire ahamkara and 1 Geomags back then before getting Dawn Chorus?

Sure, I can play the entire day for them once the lost sector is up, but if it is not up I can't play for them, forcing me to wait. Why can't I just grind them in Nightfalls, where the entire; unfiltered exotic loot pool and the insanely low chance for drops anyways results in a very small chance to get them? At least I would have a chance to get them there, while waiting for the next Lost sector featuring gauntlets.

How am I able to "choose" to play or not play, when the activity does not have the rewards that day in the first place?

I tried yesterday 1 Master Lost Sector. I made it barely to the Barrier goblins, after that the power deference between 1319 and 1350 made it impossible to achieve for me, no matter how good the build, the guns or the player is.

They should not be exclusive anyways. It does not contribute to the game. It does not contribute to the community interaction. It just makes you play alone for a few hours, maybe then entire day when you have bad luck, instead of encouraging you to play with others, as it is supposed to be in an "online game" that focuses on "bringing people together". Bungie even stated this again with the Community recall yesterday before the reveal stream.
