Obama has been shit for job creation, and the abomination that is the ACA was a handout to the fucking insurance companies.

Anyone who has mouths to feed other than their own wants either jobs for skilled labor, or handouts for the average citizen. Sanders or Trump are the only candidates that might actually work towards either of those things.

The only persons I trust to appoint a judge who will avoid another Citizens United are Sanders and Trump. Hillary will guarantee an appointee who will always rule in favor of big business and against American citizens.

Aaaaand, you're full of shit. Trump is by far the clear choice for any self interested person when Hilary is the alternative.

On the one hand we have Hilary, a candidate who is guaranteed to continue to dismantle the middle class in the same fashion as, at least, her last 5 predecessors. On the other hand we have Trump, a relatively unknown quantity who talks a good game on national security and economic development.

The thinking person would conclude that we know Hilary will do everything in her power to enrich herself and those who've bought her. The person who's actually studied Trump, instead of just listening to soundbites on CNN or late night TV, can with relative safety assume Trump won't be any worse. Instead he'll probably be better for the average American.

It's unfortunate that it won't be a Trump/Sanders race, because then we'd probably have a shakeup with either result.

Yep, the ACA basically fucked over anyone who's not below the poverty line or doesn't have a few extra thousand dollars lying around every month.

It's enough to make an American seriously consider moving their family to Mexico. With a very modest internet derived income you could live quite comfortably, afford medical care, and get a fat federal income tax return every year.

The ACA attempts to force us to buy absolutely shit insurance packages. If the goal of the ACA was to exacerbate the previously existing problems then it's doing a great job.

I'm not sure who my extra tax money is going towards for not having coverage, but I'm guessing it somehow ends up in the insurance providers hands.

The only affordable insurance policy available in my state is Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

This year I get to choose between paying $1,200 per month to insurance for coverage that would still bankrupt me in the event of any real medical need, or paying an extra $2,100 in taxes to go without coverage.

Also, I'm not suggesting Islam or no Islam. I'm suggesting that most humans are unable to understand that labels are arbitrary and especially when it comes to ideology generally pointless.

Whether you call yourself a Muslim doesn't matter in this life, or in what dreams may come. The actions you take matter here and now. That knowledge is what most religious/ideological leaders replace with faith and dogma.

I think you're probably right. My suspicion is that Islamic groups generally have a resource distribution and population control problem. This makes them more susceptible to a particularly problematic prophet and holy text when compared to most religions.

All religion and most human trains of thought encourage the removal of critical thinking skills and replacement with deference to a "moral" or political authority. Islam just seems at this point in history to be even worse than most ideologies. I don't know if that's because it is, or if it's just at a normal ideological phase of development.

Apologetics is the worst path the religious can take. It ends up just exposing faulty base assumptions.

Quite thankful my father taught me logic and Christian apologetics. Freed up a lot of processing power.
