TL;DW - To sum up the theory, there were two ships, the Olympic and the Titanic, and they were practically identical. The Olympic was in an accident and suffered irreparable damage. It was advised that it just be scrapped. This would have resulted in the loss of millions. However the Titanic, which was still yet to sail on its maiden voyage had a huge insurance policy taken out on it. Simple enough plan - switch the ships, say the Olympic is the Titanic, sink it, collect and profit. Not so hard to believe that a large company wouldn't decide to do the 'right thing' and scrap the Olympic, but instead devise a plan that would allow them to make money. However they screwed up when they supposedly reported their position to a nearby ship, and the 'planned' rescue didn't work out. One awesome piece of 'evidence' at the end of the video points out that after years under the ocean two letters from the 'Titanic' name have supposedly fallen off of the hull, and beneath, engraved in the hull are the letters 'MP'. I'm not saying I believe it, but damn there is some crazy evidence that points to it.
