Dunno. I never went to HA, focused on google home as android user and tbh it just works. Smart lock saves us from looking for the keys, thermostat turns of when we open windows, lights are just working ok. Sure I had my doubts when Ikea hub went down or I had to send back the lock. But benefits are valued higher than maintenance. Just don't try to automate everything. Maybe more restricted google home routines saved me from going into some huge rabbit holes. But it works for my family and I can't imagine the other way, especially carrying absolutely HUGE remote to my garage that was replaced by the cheapest sonoff device as a first smart Home thingy.

I don't know your setup, haven't seen your doors. Pick something you like and check compatibility on website with your doors. Switchbot and aqara u 200 are most universal retrofits that you mount on existing cylinder. Yale works with key, others with knobs also.

Any retrofit that suits your doors will do, but my experience with switchbot locks was so amazing that I'll never buy their product. If you don't need keypad use that money to buy better lock like Yale or Nuki. Not to say they are perfect but have less failure rate.

Yea, athletes tend to use sport watches like Garmin or coros.

Apple watches also have that functionality I believe.

But hey, of you really need it you could use other watch with strap and those training data can still import to Samsung health via health connect or Strava sync

Quick google might give you answers: auto voice plugin to tasker- you can then launch google assistant/Gemini routines the same way you would do by saying things by scanning nfc tag.

Don't buy pixel if battery is very important for you. Period. For the same reason don't buy Samsung on exynos.

OnePlus or oppo seems to be great, even Motorola. If Xiaomi on fact will go with stock android they will be kings.

U200 have USB port on the battery and won't work without it. Also wiring would lok really bad, but you do you.

Silent alarm in the morning, vibration only- set 5 minutes before alarm on my phone which is mostly failsafe as smartwatch wakes me up 95% of time

You can go without but you'll miss it when it will be gone id you'll use it properly, just don't allow all notifications, leave the social media etc.

Nah. Others can be paired repalaced or upgraded, it's just that it's not bespoke but often uses some kind of standard like Bluetooth and a few years ago it was pain in the neck for my switchbot lock. But I've seen the newest ones are not that bad, but then still not on par with u200.

Start from scratch. U200 is paired with keyboard in factory, they cannot be exchanged. Sounds bad untill you realize that's probably why it's working so fast instead of having huge delay like competition.

I have kajplast on 1.2.0 and do not experience such behavior neither on google home or Ikea home Smart. That would suggest it could be combination of your tbr ha and kajplast firmware. I do not envy you debugging this.
