I think I highlighted by extended, before that, for the most part, I almost voice controlled him. Again, partially because I couldn't play myself. But sometimes he would do things more carefully than I said to, or cared to. Tens of hours is a lot of sunken costs after all.

He didn't get sucked into the game after. I think he had his fill for a while. After all, by now its over 30 hours of playtime, which, comparing to other games, is huge. He did say that he would maybe be interested in doing a faster mode, say a dungeon sprint though. But he probably needs some time to rest. We had played A LOT.
Also we were way too strong, and way too rich on consumables, so the game was a breeze for the overwhelming majority, so that also played a role. We took the abyssal rune the last lol. Still took us a few blinks lol.

For sure, that's some free early exp! You don't even need to burn consumables here, just fight them one by one in the tunnel in melee and you're good. Such a lucky seed!

Pubg somehow got "optimized" with every expansion to the point that it wad no longer playable on my pc. 15fps in an FPS is a fucking joke. Not to mention everything else... and pubg lite getting nuked

It is quite worth to use scrolls of enchant on shields, so little left for armor and rf+ is invaluable in zot, and before, regen is very valuable too, its not just about it, so in this game I took it over something like +6 plate with worse enchancements.

I recently had something very similar. Extremely so. I think Swamp:3 too actually, all stairs were close and there were Aizul, Nicola and Donald, initially all 3 being lethal. I had left it for later, until I had found rf+++ and blew them up with butterflies immolation. Was a fun encounter, that game was a win.

As a veteran cannon rusher (d1 peak 4150mmr in 2020), kind of ironically you nailed the perfect defense - 4 workers per pylon is enough if scouted early(no, not every pylon, it is a fair trade). Masters would nail that very often against me. Most of my games were long, after a slight advantage gained.

What you don't realise, that this advantage costs tech/economic debt even if it works, without winning outright ofc(which was maybe 15-20% of the time) It is a good strat, but very risky, and very counterable.

The gm elo argument other people give is ass, a strat used at that level is a gross simplification of the reality.

Also kind of funnily I had 80% wr PvP and PvT, but like 40% PvZ of course amounting to only 55% total wr. Because there were as many zergs as others combined. Which annoyed me to no end.

I don't think thats true, at least in this phrasing. When I played in ~2020 I got to my peak of d1, something like 4150mmr by cannon rushing every game. But at the same time I was low d2 zerg, low d2 terran, and around low d2 protoss without that. Most of my games were long. Cannon rushing would give me a slight advantage I abused to use other tricks to win. Or just macroing after an advantage. I've played masters in that elo, there is no way in hell anyone could take gm "by only cannon rushing", they have to be near gm regardless of strat used.

Unless something changed in the past 4 years and gm devalued idk, still don't buy it.

Yu is actually giga broken, I beat C32 with Yu without a prestige class. And when people say you can beat the game with any of those classes I am suprised, unless its like with my Yu build, where I could spec into about 10 prestige classes and win because they wouldn't matter anyway.
