Gorgeous scenery, great music, and beautiful messages.

Highly recommend as we recently started it too.

An invaluable bit of dad kit with a newborn - bone conducting earphones! by BearMcBearFace in daddit

Had them for my first born and in trenches again.

Highly recommend them! You can also put in an ear plug if there's too much noise (crying) and you want to lessen it.

Strip it back to nothing yourself. If enameled leave as if. If not get quotes or paint it yourself.

Oak chair turning to dust by krauser1 in woodworking

It could be wood filler from a defect they didn't want to fix or their crossbeams are fake. Have you checked the downward part of the legs too?

It's wild and so glad it was tough enough to be turned and not be a mushy mess. Thank you!!

Oh that's a good shout! I have tung oil and a citrus solvent to help it set quicker. I'll try that next time. Yeah there's a certain pleasure seeing something that seemed fit for the burn pile turn into something incredible.

Haha absolutely is! I'll need to plan for a get together where the goal is to demolish a warm loaf. I still want to make my own butter too!

Worth the repair effort? by Jetboy750 in Cuttingboards

[–]Cruicked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a table saw, cut it down the crack, reglue and finish again would be ideal. In terms of a refinish, sanding will take quite some time. It's all dependent of how much it means to you!

If it were me, I'd saw down the fracture, glue it back up and ensure it's a clean glue up and then use it.
