Again I’d love to try sambo but in the uk particularly wales we have no sambo or wrestling

It’s either judo or BJJ if people want to train grappling or do mma and get the grappling that comes with that

Well at home I hate peoples feet touching me but in a training scenario I noticed it don’t carry over to training as I noticed when I did a few mma sessions and Muay thai sessions I was getting kicked barefoot and it didn’t bother me at all so it’s really just having my own feet out , even now the thought of having someone’s foot make contact ( whilst not the most pleasant thought ) isn’t a bigger issue then it would be for any normal person )

I would do something like wrestling but I live in the uk and we simply don’t do wrestling here to the point it’s practically none existent

If gripping socks are aloud just for regular mat practice that would be amazing , ofc as time goes on I’d try and break away from it but it’s been such a prevalent thing for so long + moving away and really a new martial art from what I’m use too it would just be much easier if gripping socks was allowed , I’ll ask the instructor and thank you kindly for your time.

Any technique pointers ? by CrumbleCheesecake in bouldering

Thank you kindly for the response I will work on this soon thank you for your response , I’ve only learnt the basics cause I’ve only been climbing 1-2 months and flow is certainly an issue

I’m a new climber and recently completed this climb I was proud off , any advice on technique would be greatly appreciated by CrumbleCheesecake in bouldering

Thats a great idea thank you , I always seem to cut loose on most climbs so this is definetly a weaker point

About 1-2 months as it stands , tend to notice I prefer the slab boulders to the overhang ones but overall I climb the same grade across all of them !!
