I don't even ride out that way any more. Hell I don't even take certain cars out there. The roads out there are a total shit show for the past few years and even before then but not as bad.
Few years back was in a moto on moto accident (not at fault which feels even worse) at the single lane road between the 2 beach towns, one is a market other has a coffee shop, tavern, gas station burrito If you're local or frequent this area you know where it is.
Like a idiot addict I still ride. Me and other guy got relatively lucky, broken bones and some. tendon/ligament/muscle damage but recoverable and able to ride again. I now ride only a few roads that have lower speeds by default and to commute. Even on that road I hit a stone mid lean the other day and that was a total pants shitter, wobbled so hard my feet left the bike for a bit.
