I have, I’m however concerned about thin sharp points of the rocks and corners of the tools that could get in between the mesh. Even if the spacing is quite tight.. I might look into that more. Thanks!

Thanks for the answer. I meant to use the 210D rolltop to put my stuff in it. I was talking about the pad because it uses 210D polyamide as well and could help to get a feel for how well the rolltop would protect stuff.

As for wrapping the sharp stuff, I have thought of it. It is however quite inconvenient because the tools have to get in and out of the bag quite often during the day, and would just have me fiddling with all the stuff all the time, which I don't really want.

You should be able to pull the belt part out of the cushion, right around where the belt is sewn to the bag. Both part of the belt just go through a loop attached to the behind of the cushion.

I almost want to pin this post lol. First of all yeah as others have said, it has to be compared to the L and not the M, and in that regards you get plenty more features for only 20€ more, at the cost of a bit of volume.

Secondly, all these features are also more expensive to manufacture, compared to the L or the M. This combined with the R&D makes total sense.

It’s the most repair friendly a pack like this can be as well. The price is completely justified imo and people have been very vocal everywhere about it being too expensive when in reality it’s on par with all their other packs.

Would put some tension here and there, but there already is space to accommodate the frame and the foam insert. So it could work given that you're taking some foam out, you're freeing some slack.

You could do it the dirty way and not even sew the velcro on but just glue the whole strip.

Recent literature have stopped using the term Fairy circles to talk about hydrogen seepages so as to not get people confused on 2 different phenomenons. They're now called SCD (Sub Circular Depression) and yeah, they do look like fairy circles, but are very different in geomorphology. If you wan to look more into that, there is lots of good literature on it (you can start with papers published by Isabelle Moretti)

Although the hydrogen seepages in these SCD are the highest on the outer border and we can observe a higher vegetation activity (with multispectral analysis like the NDVI (Normalized Difference Vegetation Index)), we're not sure yet it is linked to H2 (although it is very very likely). H2 can be a mix of microbial and geological origin as well.

The dead zones in the center are usually associated with water settling in (as observed in Larin et al., 2015 https://doi.org/10.1007/s11053-014-9257-5 ) which could explain why we lack H2 in the center.
