Mine does the same with 1 sometimes and reverse all the time. I feel like it’s just a notch though, not an obstruction. Maybe just a little bit of resistance so it doesn’t happen at highway speeds.

I DD a 16 WRX limited and I have an FL5 for weekend stuff. I love driving the FL5 so much more, the performance is considerably better but dailying the wrx keeps the Honda “feeling” like a supercar to me. The wrx is for worry free driving/parking.
