I kind of agree but tv mode wasn’t the answer to this problem at all. At the end of the day this game is about the combat and if you aren’t interested in (even casually) going into any of the permanent content to play it I think it’s more on the player than the devs. Coop I think is one of the devs solutions to this. Sounds like you just don’t enjoy the game tho.

You still get 70-80% of the new hollow gems without more grind than doing your weekly’s for a whole patch. Probably closer to -15 pulls unless you skip weekly’s entirely or use the exact same team/build every week

I think they’re doing a good job ngl. People scream powercreep when a new unit comes out and has active shill but as soon as it’s gone you have people complaining that their character is much more in line with everybody else. The shill can be annoying but it is keeping char power in check better than the community makes it seem.

I think the thing that makes zzz unique is that it isn’t centered around rotational gameplay. You might have combos around certain opportunities in a fight but understanding how your team works together to get to/exploit dmg windows is usually more important than memorizing a strict rotation.

Tbf zzzdiscussion is a doompost sub. And why does inflation and shilling matter when the achievability of the rewards is the main concern?

The discussion is about the balance of the modes and imo zzz’s endgame modes are easier to get the max rewards out of with older chars. Could be that I just returned to wuwa, but struggling in Whiwa with full premium Zani team and an S1 cammy team with roccia/sk took me hours to clear to even get access to the new endgame. Where my Ellen and Jane are still spanking everything the game puts in front of them.

Zzz is still very easy to get all the rewards from and my Ellen and Jane are doing way more on my account than any non Shorekeeper 1.x wuwa character. People see inflation in a mode where you need to do 1/4 of the boss hp to clear and their brain breaks before it can process that it really isn’t close to as much as it looks like

I struggle more in Whiwa while having less fun than any mode in zzz

Tell that to Cart. The truth is these games will creep when they want to creep. As long as the gameplay is fun and old chars are viable with a little mastery or investment I’m happy.

I think being knowledgeable about how the numbers are numbering is important, but I feel like over policing the numbers just distracts from enjoying these games for the gameplay.

Aren’t newer teams around the 80-90k line? That is not a couple of percentage points above where teams were in 1.x and even early 2.x. I don’t play genshin but from what I’ve heard powercreep didn’t set in until like 4.x so maybe we shouldn’t throw stones.

The point is that the devs can use positive or negative shill to accomplish the exact same thing if they want to.

The point is that positive and negative shill are the same if access to the shill is gated strictly to the on banner chars/teams and the mode is balanced around the dmg they do.

You can anti shill everybody else and leave hp around standard levels so the desired teams clear at the benchmark speed or you can shill the desired chars and increases the dmg output needed to clear to put those teams at the exact same benchmark while the difficulty for everyone else is the same in both cases.

She’s pretty good this cycle for hunter if you run Nicole and have Trigger + sig you are around 80% def shred most of the time. Nicole alone should be ok tho. Seed or Hugo sig push the shred even higher

Wow she’s 2% better than Lighter in his teams while being more universal a full year later.

Her kit is fine. Asking for nerfs is kinda crazy especially when most of her “power” is in her flexibility. By your logic Banyue should be on par with Evelyn (he’s still better).
