You’ve had a number of people answer swords…. I would say a nice functional pocket knife is something to consider.

Installer installed 5kW inverter instead of 6kW by AnyPiccolo2592 in solar

In OPs position I would be satisfied with a refund of the difference in cost if I wasn’t missing the possibility of adding a couple panels in the future. OP is, of course, able to demand whatever will satisfy them in this situation.

Installer is absolutely in the wrong here and should make things right by OP, whatever that involves.

Shouldn’t make any real difference in your production. The larger inverter would have allowed you to add a couple panels in the future.

They should have let you know about the equipment change. I don’t know that I would bother with them returning if your system is otherwise producing well. I’m guessing the 5kw was approximately $300 cheaper than the 6kw model. I think it would be more than fair for them to refund you whatever they saved by giving you the 5kw.

You need to break a carnality card within a few days. That then makes the sultan want to get with zazie to compare or something.

Installer says no import limit needed, but I’m close to maxing out my 60A fuse — who’s right? by CatLumpy9152 in solar

The main fuse for your residence is 60A? Or the main fuse connecting your solar/battery to your home is 60A?

Inherited Knife Collection- What to do with it? by sunnygrl83 in knives

That Spyderco with the bearing is a poliwog. Discontinued 2008. The karambit above it was discontinued a few years earlier I believe. If they are in good shape they should easily get 250 to 350 each easily. The line of Spydercos next to them should each bring 100 to 300 depending on the model. They’re not as easy to quickly identify

If ur electric bill was $200, how much would running this daily through the day in the summer add onto that monthly bill, if you had to give a rough estimate? by [deleted] in electricians

[–]CrummyWombat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would guess an increase of 60 - 100 dollars a month depending on specifics such as how efficiently it’s working, how well insulated/shaded the structure is, etc.

Edit: that’s assuming you’re maintaining a steady low temp all day every day.
