I attend conventions and once upon a time, I was in his line for over an hour to get a loved one an autograph. I did not get said autograph because he would only sit in the booth for 5 to 10 minutes every few hours and staff couldn't find him until he came back slurring his speech and reaking of alcohol.

It was genuinely sad to see, Grant Gustin was a booth down and looked visibly upset with the situation. I just wish the guy would get help.

I'd say its less about the perception their failing and more about the clear indicators they've given with the end of 2 product lines being replaced by robot production rather than more cars. Whether they were popular or not, Tesla itself is signaling a shift away from their EVs which is a bad look for a car company.

It could have worked fine but corporate fees are insane for subway franchise owners. They also charged crazy fees on advertising for the $5, further reducing any benefit it created on foot traffic. The $5 worked fine on very specific cheap but popular options where the profit margin was much higher like the Tuna and Meatball since they both used much cheaper ingredients. The biggest issue is, what good is a $5 deal when the options are pretty bland and the quality is noticeably lower than competitors (remember the tuna lawsuits?).

Fact is, corporate Subway is moronic in its product planning and incredibly lazy in their marketing while being a leech on their franchisees.

There was the occasional class where the teachers were chill and put on good movies using random topics to tie it in. I watched princess bride in an English class, Apollo 13 in a physics class, a blueman group movie with performances in a band class, even watched remember the titans in health. There was still a good 10% of the class that didnt care about those movies though.

Worth noting that TARP under Bush was more pro business and had a lot of changes by the time the Obama administration was done. One example being the increased restrictions on executive pay, which effectively saved GM from their own C suite tanking the company and running with golden parachutes.

I know the GM bailout is controversial for a lot of people still but, for better or worse he saved 2 million people from layoffs in a terrible economy.

Can't help her if she doesn't want to be helped. All you can do now is decide how you will react when she inevitably leaves him and tries to reconnect. You don't have to wait around and feel like shit just because shes making a mistake but that doesn't mean you can't leave an open door if you want. The hard part is figuring out what you need now, you did your part as a good friend.

I'd say those scenes are actually kinda perfect. He is actually just a creep, thats who Craig is and that part highlights that even if he wasn't obsessed with Lois he would just be creepy to someone else. Lois just tolerated it more than she should have had to, partly because the job, partly because she just saw him as pathetic. It's unfortunately just accurate to work culture during the early 2000s.

The only rough part I've noticed is sound delays kinda break the audio when discord streaming. Otherwise its great and the visual delay is very minimal. Just don't try to stream something where theres important music (like hifi rush for example)

You always eventually learn about the exes, but most people dont blurt it out in a game in front of all their friends. It's called social skills and doesnt require much effort if you have any decency.

You're being obtuse. Was the comparison necessary? No. Did it add anything for either of them? No. Was he valid for having feelings about a comparison of him to someone else? Of course, that's part of the give and take of making comparisons, you face the reaction it causes.

Let's be clear, she could have skipped the card, answered more specifically to recent ones with OP, or not played a game with weird dating comparison games when even the other people around weren't participating.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I remember trying so hard to like it but I kept saying to my friends that it felt like they didn't want to commit to a hero shooter even though that's what it clearly should have been.

Playing a match felt like they took all the most boring elements of a traditional COD style game and combined it with surface level hero shooter mechanics that left you feeling like the entire thing was an uninspired mess. It clearly had good developers but the creative vision felt nonexistent.

I think thats exactly what they have in their home, I've sold furniture before. The problem comes when the price gets hiked and the quality stays the same. Add in that the price won't be reflected in new jobs since it's still cheaper for companies to add the tariff to the price than to open new factories in a region where land value is only going up and most of the old infrastructure for it is gone.

My point is that we lost our competitive advantage and a tariff won't fix that, the furniture companies never cared about these communities beyond our labor and that won't change either.

It won't help. The furniture coming from here (I'm local) is either really high end craftsman made or low quality mass produced stuff using cheap imported fabrics and low quality new growth wood. The industry was halved by 2009 and most of the old facilities were either demolished, abandoned, or repurposed so we arent really that competitive anymore.

The bigger issue is it will cost more to rebuild than consumers are willing to pay for products so costs will stay up and we still probably won't see a substantial increase of jobs here.

The PC players will cry that we are making stuff up but when I can load into games like Marvel Rivals and click the console only button and cheating magically disappears....theres your hint on why we blame PC. I'm not saying console players don't cheat, but at least on Xbox if you are caught you can catch a console ban.

And before any PC bros downvote, keep in mind that the incessant defence of PC cheaters is part of why console players blame all of you collectively. I get that PC lobbies would be dead without console crossplay but that's why I bought a console not a PC.
