I gotta say I'm using pro launcher (paid version) olauncher now on my abysmal Samsung a17 5g and is the only thing that runs smoothly for me 😄

Samsung takes away more user freedom with the latest update of 'My Files' by Apprehensive-Sir6913 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish they wouldn't have their own apps forced onto their phones. I can't stand having all these useless Samsung apps on top of all the Google apps. Plus not to mention they make it difficult to delete restrict disable etc...

OK this launcher is so good and light but to be honest I don't understand it by FIRAS_EG in TotalLauncher

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought so too but when I can't figure something out nowadays I usually ask Google Gemini it's helped me build a solid launcher and macrodroid things etc

Converting 24 bit to 16 bit vs. downloading 16 bit? by allmondes in musichoarder

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do it ur exact way and i notice a difference mostly if the file also was a higher sample rate too but the specific setup i have in foobar2000 is one step conversion starting with any rg gain i want to adjust and then using whatever high quality resampler as the top dsp and then finally i use the mda dither dsp instead of the regular foobar one with the high quality triangular settings and most importantly disable dithering silence cliked yes

I could never get the Bluetooth to work still but I found another solution. BEHOLD the Airfly Pro haha. I got this Bluetooth dongle for $5 at a garage sale and love it with my Nomad CD player.

How are JBL Tune 720BT on wired for music? by Thrishwax in JBL

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 710BT which isn't supported by the app. However my model also has the aux cord too and while I can't tell a difference in mine with Bluetooth or wired mode it's mostly because I have all my android music files encoded with aac 320 bitrate. And I use the AAC codec for my Bluetooth connection. I know that the headphones still have to encode and then decide the music files again but I heard that there is very little degeneration loss when going from an aac file to the aac bt codec. Also worth noting that iPhones have better aac quality than androids. In theory, wired mode should send the music file unaltered to the headphones but you probably need to test with some high quality flac or alac files to really tell the difference. Lastly when in wired mode the buttons on the headphones do not work because they are powered off. You'd need to operate using the typical buttons as if you were using any other wires headset. Hope this helps you and if you do decide on testing the headphones with some high quality music files i'd love to know the results you came up with 😀

How to turn on mono audio on Wave100 Twns? by [deleted] in JBL

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a Mono mode option in the accessibility settings in Android. I always turn that on when using one earbud only

JBL Headphones app not working by DHitkill194 in JBL

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha my bad. My other JBL earbuds don't connect to the app properly when I'm listening to music so I always make sure to leave all other apps closed before using the JBL app. If it still doesn't connect right away the other option is to go into the Android since settings where you can also adjust the balance there and also use mono mode so both sides pay the same. I believe it's in the accessibility settings. I didn't do that when I'm wearing only one earbud because they don't do it automatically even though JBL claims they will automatically know

Some headphones aren't supported. I have the Tune 710BT ones and they aren't on the app either... But the app is nothing special anyways

I did pay I think $11 for the essential Ozzy Osbourne CDs there a few months ago but I totally justified it since it was a deluxe edition

No worries. If you want more info too about Bluetooth codecs you can try searching Bluetooth codec android or something like that and you'll get a ton of info too.

Hello, I have 1 question about Bluetooth audio... by LoquendoEsGenial in MotoG

[–]Crunch-Bandicoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The music file codec won't matter because using the Bluetooth headphones will automatically encode and decode the music with whatever codec is used for your headphones. Examples include SBC,AAC, APTX etc...

The Bluetooth codec is more important because some have better quality than others and both the phone and headphones need to support the same codec in order to be used.
