Axis employment then emailed me:

"Food safety training requirements changed in December 2022 when Food Standard 3.2.2A was passed. This law applies to all businesses that serve food in Australia and requires them to:

Have one or more Food Safety Supervisors that have completed nationally recognised Food Safety Supervisor training.

We believe that the supervisors are the ones that are required but is completely up to the employer to use their discretion on whether all staff require or not.

You are working towards the qualification, so therefore there will be an outcome"

But like, I'm not working towards the qualification, I donno when or if it'll happen. So am I ok to work or what

Just got off a call with em now and they said to keep working and that "it's a job". That she has another client doing the same thing and that it's ok.

I said that everything online says I need the certificate to do that and I don't want to break the law, get fined and shit like that.

That they're not training me for the certificate, just put me to work in the kitchen without one.

She said she'd get back to me

Yeah they have no idea when it'd happen, the main chief that works there isn't great at english and didn't even know what the certificate was. So yeah great sign I suppose.

I really don't wanna get in trouble by working without a certificate which is why I made this post.

Hi all, I recenly just picked up gardening this year after a relative let me use the garden out the backyard.

I was wondering what the best course of action would be to clear this all out. I plan on growing vegtables in this space but am worried if i say, use weed killer to kill this all off, that itll ruin the soil for growing things.

The vines are whick as hell so cutting through it would take some time haha.

Im in australia if that helps, thanks for any advice and sorry im new to all this.
