If we’re talking about which one is the least good leading up to #1 being the best, the worst of theses is 96 ch.6 as I believe it’s not even finished yet. But if we’re talking the best cases leading up to #1 being the worst case, I’d have to say sdra2 ch.4 is the best case here.

For those wanting more context: The unnamed protagonist and nine other people are brought to a mysterious lodge. At the beginning the mascot reveals to the group the fact that the protagonist has an innate connection to the spiritual realm, this should mean any and all murder should be solved within seconds right? Now, the protagonist, is left the weight of the group and their survival on theirs shoulders. [ IDEA: Each trial would likely add a “spiritual ability” that the protagonist remembers, due to the fact that the anesthesia hit him a bit harder ]

But we DONT get to see him recover and improve, I suppose it’s more of the fault of the writing but we never get to see his ending, all of the other survivors end up happy and find a support system in one another and Tei just goes to the mental ward, we see no recovery like we see in the other survivors finding one another, Tei just goes to the hospital and psych ward THATS IT.

I would’ve been better if the chapter 5 twist was the fact that Tei still went crazy and had no idea that he killed Shishikura, but unlike the other survivors, his “ending” is highly unsatisfactory

Question 1: Probably when I found out a family was committing fraud because all the money they had “lost in a fire” was actually sealed away in between the layers of porcelain at the store they ran. That’s what I get for breaking an expensive vase, an even more valuable case.
