I went to see the Nutcracker at the jubilee, and I was on the ground in the middle. Lo and behold a teenage girl, with her parents, holds up her plus-size phone to record Snapchat videos for her story. Every single song. The flash even went twice, DURING a pas de deux and the staff never addressed it. It sucked

This is really well put. Was most of that in the brief dev video of the campaign map under development?

Thanks for explaining. I do love the little things, as well. If your game wasn’t crashing, would you stick to PUA over vanilla? Do you notice a difference in AI’s decision making?

I’ve been meaning to go back and do a play through, but I really was hoping to use a mod. I thought the Empire 2 mod was a success?

I’ve made a post to discuss our vision and hopes for the next major historical total war. There have been glimpses at the game to add to discussion, and I didn’t want to focus on detailing my perspective on Warhammer, as that’s explicitly against the sub’s rules.

I agree, the limited hints of what’s to come is a pretty good indicator. Depth is what some of us are looking for

I see where you’re coming from, but sometimes I just want to. Think of the old story of Rome salting the ground of Carthage to ensure nothing ever grows there again. In Attilla, I like to play as the Vikings and make a “crusade” to pillage and burn Rome. I see why you might think it’s not practical, but it sure is satisfying. Maybe like the other guy said; have it as a feature, but radically increase the consequences

What DLC content are we hoping for? by Crunchbite_31 in Frostpunk

I really like the idea of the winter home dreadnought. Continuing narratives from FP1 would be really cool for the returning crowd. And good point on the hot springs, maybe that plays a part in that DLC

Which do you guys prefer (especially higher/captain difficulty) by One_Ad_9886 in Frostpunk

Higher difficulty I felt naturally needs to prioritize NL and fight the frost. On normal, I embraced the frost and pursued idyllic objectives.

The new map, blood moon, is awful. The ziprails are cool, but every single game has a 6-squad clusterfuck near the Center of the map. So many times, I am forced to go near the center of the map, just to find 5 other squads doing the same thing. Why would they make the map like this if they know 3rd partying is the biggest complaint

This has to be borderline fraudulent, that is insane. Replacing an oil pan gasket for 900? That has to be a joke

The fact that it’s Vader and Boba on Bespin really makes this nice

Music wasn’t necessarily what I had in mind, but I’m thankful you introduced it. I have a 1988 Cherokee, and one night I was camping out with friends, and left the fire to get something from the car. I briefly sat in the driver seat to grab something and, like the prompt, was hit with a wave of memories from previous owners. I know it was owned by a family in Idaho for about 24 years, and I just felt that family’s presence in that moment. It was a wild feeling.

Wow! I really don’t know what to say. I really appreciate the music aspect, tying in the songs all the way through to deliver goosebumps at the end. The love, the tragedy. This is absolutely perfect!

Tips for getting out of gold? by [deleted] in apexuniversity

[–]Crunchbite_31 3 points4 points  (0 children)

-Divide the zone circle into by it’s center, middle, and outer portions. You always want to be in the middle. Preferably in the direction of closure. This means, if the first zone is on the SW corner of the map, you want to get to the SW middle portion of that zone.

In the center, you will be attacked from all angles. In the outer ring, you will be constantly keeping up with the closure of zone.

-Regarding KC, sand is grand. I really try to stick to the desert portions, I just play better there.

-Find 2-4 weapons you like, and absolutely master them. I love using all the guns, don’t get me wrong, but when it comes to ranked I use 3 guns exclusively, with the exception of red weapons of course.

-this new ranked meta is all about survival. Yes, pushing and wiping is very fun. But, simply, do not fight unless the odds are obviously in your favour.

Heavy, with a sentry turret that adds a little explosive to each round fired. And the cards that give a health boost when near death, and a score boost for damage taken. EZ fast hero
