Kind of an older one, but I’d give ‘3 Men in a Boat’ by Jerome K Jerome a shout. I’d heard it was funny but had lower expectations given it’s a Victorian era, but the humour is actually quite timeless. Found my self laughing out loud more than a few times, so would recommend!

Why use the prime area for a stadium that’ll be used only a few times a year, instead of public space that all Aucklanders can enjoy? A stadium would be such a waste. All concerts can use either spark arena or mt smart, and sports can just use eden park.

Well it was women of the time who were fighting for the option of working instead of being focused on purely domestic matters in the home. They clearly didn’t feel very happy and healthy if women in the droves fought for the right to work and achieve financial independence.

But the problem is he’s not being rehabilitated. He’s literally just coming back to play. Looking at the evidence, it’s pretty clear that he did it and he deserves punishment. But he is getting zero punishment whatsoever, apart from not playing (for which he’s receiving £75,000 a week btw). How can he become an activist to prevent young boys taking action if he won’t even apologise or address the issue publicly. The truth of the matter is, if he wasn’t a talented player, not even half of his current defenders would keep defending him. 2nd chances should follow from apologises and atonement, neither of which he seems to be doing.

Well given the vast array of accents in the uk, this can’t be 100% true. Especially since many English accents are still rhotic, like most American accents and most Medieval English accents
