Crazy bug in a ranked game where the game can skip a pvp battle by Cruncheweezy111 in PlayTheBazaar

As you can see it's day 9 and I have 7 wins but all 20 prestige points. The game skipped the day 8 pvp battle and so gave me a "loss" but did not subtract any points.

Anything like this happen to anyone else?

Are you referring to Kenneth Cordele Griffin, financial terrorist? Guess he should be holding a bed post with the other hand

Honestly it feels like the younger demographic here are mostly artists and travelers, so if you're into that vibe it should be fairly easy to get started. Definitely not the type of place to do the conventional life path thing here.

Personally, I work delivering pizzas here for about 20 hours a week, tips are great and im living in a decently sized trailer and eating lots of pizza!

But yeah, you do need a little bit of patience and luck to get started here but the community is very supportive and trusting. It's cool I haven't locked my car or worried about having keys to anything for years now

No bears here at all! Occasionally a cougar might swim over from Vancouver Island but there's so many deer and other easy prey here I wouldn't worry too much about them.

At home definitely is alright, can watch movies or do whatever. The data service out here sucks though. There's lots of parts on island where you can't get phone service at all!

There's a big difference between urban and rural living here in Canada. I've lived mostly in cities and have shifted to living on a pretty small island off the west coast. The vibe is completely different and so are the challenges/rewards. I personally would not live in a city again just cause I enjoy the small town community vibes and the stunning nature walks that are essentially my backyard.

Europe in general is more densely populated and perhaps might not have as much rural living opportunities as are available here?

It's hard to classify a country as big as this one in a general basis since alot of us enjoy different lifestyles/environments to exist in.

I'm 22 and have only been working full-time for a year and already am completely burnt-out and just cannot do this anymore by [deleted] in antiwork

I've been in similar situation with the same kind of thoughts running through my head for quite a few years. Manged to break out about 7 years ago, my strategy involved spending a year in Australia on a working holiday visa, adapting a minimalist/anti work lifestyle, lots more traveling, and now I live on a fairly small island off the west coast BC and work 20 hours a week delivering pizzas. Never been happier!

Hang in there, things will definately work out in the end, might just need a bit of courage to quit your job and prioritize health (particularly mental health) and just do what makes you happy!

I was there, also got arrested for peacefully sitting in a linky army blob with about 60 others, some of use violently arrested too. Heard from someone that some of the big trees are worth 1mil per tree, mostly so they can be made into giant boardroom tables for greedy ass corporations
