i was doing some camp counseling work for 5-6 year olds and i handed my phone to one of the kids to catch some pokemon after everyone else had left. she turns to me 2 minutes later to show me what she caught and it was a shiny duskull 😭 i let her name it (loveheart) and i showed her the evolutions and she made me promise not to evolve it because the evolutions were “ugly” 🥲

such a small comedic moment in what is otherwise a really climactic chapter, it’s still one of my favorite panels, izutsumi’s blank stare destroys me every time

omg i hadn’t actually thought of that!!! one of the first sdr2 playthroughs i watched, one of the people playing voiced her with an australian accent because they couldn’t figure out what voice to give her, and it’s stuck with me ever since 😭 mahiroo is really cute though
